Aquí nuevamente Serra explora otros sonidos, añadiendo elementos del soul, reggae, downtempo y otros. De aquel trabajo sobresalen éxitos como "Outter Space" o la homónima "In the Real World", que ya acumulan millones de reproducciones.
Esta música está acompañada por letras espirituales que abordan temas personales e introspectivos, desarrollando un camino de autodescubrimiento que va muy ligado a lo que él también vive durante sus largos viajes por el mundo. Junto a esto se suman temáticas frecuentes como el amor a la naturaleza, la búsqueda de una existencia consciente y la unión universal entre los seres vivos.
Con más de 450.000 oyentes sólo en Spotify, Alex Serra ha conseguido forjar una relación bastante estrecha con sus seguidores a través de sus redes sociales.
