MDLSX es un artefacto sonoro explosivo, un himno lisérgico y solitario a la libertad del devenir, a la disolución de los géneros, a ser más allá de las fronteras del cuerpo, del color de piel, del devenir, de los órganos sexuales, a ser más allá de una nacionalidad impuesta o adquirida, más allá del sentido de pertenencia a una Patria sexual. Rosi Braidotti, en “Sobre convertirse en europeos”, hablaba de “una pertenencia abierta a las multiplicidades”, un texto que sugiere una identidad posnacional... Y MDLSX apunta precisamente a ir más allá de las categorías – también las artísticas. Es un viaje por carretera de Silvia Calderoni, quien experimenta con un formato tipo Dj/Vj Set, para comenzar una exploración en torno a las fronteras. Fragmentos autobiográficos y evocaciones literarias se entrelazan, y MDLSX, difuminando la ficción y la realidad, oscila entre El Género en Disputa y Deshacer el Género. Citamos a Judith Butler quien, junto con El Manifiesto Cyborg de Donna Haraway, El Manifiesto Contra-sexual de Paul B. Preciado y otros fragmentos del universo caleidoscópico del Queer, teje el fondo de esta “Monstruo-Performance”.
